“There are two reasons for drinking wine…when you are thirsty, to cure it; the other, when you are not thirsty, to prevent it… prevention is better than cure.” Thomas Love Peacock

Winefest begins next Tuesday evening with an event not to be missed…

 The Annual Winefest Charity Auction

Tuesday October 12 7:00 – 10:00 pm

Convention Centre

Shallaway – Newfoundland & Labrador Youth in Chorus and Bridges of Hope is sponsoring this year’s Charity Wine Auction in conjunction with NLC. A charity wine auction will again be an important part of Wine Fest 2011. The auction will take place on the evening of Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Last year’s auction was a tremendous success, raising over $25,000, and was one of the highlights of Wine Fest. Wines for the auction are donated by local individuals, NLC and numerous wine producers and suppliers.

Here is why you shouldn’t miss it…

Complimentary Wine, Live and silent auction items ( always good bargains) and a great bit of fun.
